I will try to keep this blog mostly stamping, but I just can't help myself....Ryan snapped this picture of the boys this morning. Oh I am so stinkin in love with these guys it's unreal. Hard to believe my baby is going to be a year old in just 2 weeks! Ahhhhh!!!!
Also, here we are at dinner at Marrakech on last Friday for my birthday. What a fun night. Ryan took the picture himself.

Ok, so I actually got pictures done and projects done and everything. I am so proud of myself! If you know me, then you know this is a huge accomplishment.
Here are 3 of the projects we'll be doing at my Valentine's Day Stamp Camp on Saturday. They are: a post it note holder (we will be making different inserts for these at an upcoming Super Saturday....how fun!), a little hanging treat holder, and the long "Love" triangle thingie actually holds 5 Hershey's kisses inside! There are still 2 more projects, and the 4 cards...but I want some things to be a surprise.....

So last night I finally got a little bit of time to try the SCS challenge Shadow Box Cards. How fun! The original tutorial is on this amazing blog that I visit daily - Her name is Dawn and her stuff rocks! This is her blog - with the tutorial. But seriously you should check out her whole blog.

What a fantastic weekend I had!
Friday night Ryan took me to Marrakech, a morrocan restraunt and then to FAO Schwartz at Ceasar's. We had so much fun. Then on Saturday night we had dinner at Memphis BBQ with my Dad, Traci and her Grma, Steph, Val and Christi. The girls made me some awesome cards, and look at what I got!!!
I've been wanting them for quite a while, and this is my first full color family. I can't wait to start playing with them. Too bad there's always WORK to do first :(

Ok, so this card has been on SCS for a while now. It took me three times uploading it before it stayed in the gallery (I was having issues). The thing that I am most sad about is that I had some awesome comments that are now gone. Anyhow, I am getting more.
I made this one afternoon when I wanted some more samples for this particular stamp - Big Blossom - which you can get for FREE from Stampin'Up! during Sell-A-Brate (ends February 26th) I was kind of just playing around - but I LOVE the results!
I inked the flower in WW craft, kissed onto uninked paisley, stamped the image from the paisly stamp onto the More Mustard CS. Then I heat embossed with clear EP, and used sponges to add the color around the flower, starting with More Mustard, then working in Pumpkin Pie, Really Rust, and Ruby Red in towards the center. I used a flourish from Elegant Flex. Phrases for the center, I wiped the blossom off with a baby wipe after to make sure that there was no ink left on it.
There is this great new feature in the SCS gallery - you can see how many people have added your photo to their favorites. So far this one has been added to favorites 55 times!!!! I think that is soooo way cool!
I know I keep promising pictures of up coming Valentine Stamp Camp projects....I will I will...
First I want to add the card that Ryan helped me with last night for a SCS challenge - he was so funny! I'll get that up in a little bit. Going to work on the samples this afternoon....although I also need to get ready for Monday night's 2 workshops!
Ok! BIG BIG BIG thank you to everyone that wished me a happy birthday yesterday. That was sooo cool! How sad/funny is it when "strangers" take the time out to wish you a happy day, but your own Dad doesn't :P You guys really made me feel good!

I just wanted to update that I am still here and still blogging..... I spent yesterday morning in the hospital. Going to a new doctor in the morning to get a complete physical. Anyhow, I did manage to combine 2 SCS challenges today for a card that I am really proud of. Now that I have received some awesome supportive comments, and directions on how to fix my pictures...
I really really appreciate the comments. This blogging thing can be pretty intimidating, especially with all the other awesome blogs out there.

OK, so I am trying to figure out how exactly to post my photos so they come up regular size. Hasn't been working for me so far. If anybody happens to see this and can give me any pointers, I'd LOVE the help and be forever grateful.... I do want to upload some more.
Also, I am so happy that I finally figured out how to add the little thingies to the side columns...feeling pretty proud of myself for that

Yeah! Today is Super Saturday for me. One of my favorite days of the month. I love having my friends over to stamp with me. Today I have some really cool cards and a great project. We are making a stair step trinket box. These are so neat. They take a little bit of time, but they aren't very difficult and look so cool. I'll have to post a picture later.
I'm also having an 8 card - Card Buffet. Card Buffet's are my favorites to do for Super Saturdays, because everyone has more freedom to choose the cards they want to make. I have to admit that I relied heavily on the talents of others this month for the card designs. I'd be crazy if it weren't for Splitcoast!
I probably won't get the chance to post any photos until tomorrow. I'm usually pretty tired after these things, not to mention...gotta spend some good time with the babies! (and hubby!)
