Yes I have it! Between that and me working on convention swaps is why you haven't seen very much...but I have been stamping my heart out!!!!
I personally think that the entire catalog is amazing! The samples are rockin' - they willl make you fall in love with sooooo many sets. I am looking forward to sharing all these fun items with all of my friends. I think later I will be able to post some photos of more stamped goodies. I swear I don't know how some people really keep up with it all!

Ok ,I have had a few questions about the little bookmark purse for the post its and as much as I'd love to do a photo tutorial, I don't think that you'll need one, plus I really don't have that much time right now! Yikes, but I will give you the instructions on how to make. They are shown on page 218 and come as a pkg of 25 for just $4.50! Remember, that these little babies are on Stampin' Up!'s retirement list though....
Starting from the "straight" short side of the bookmark, score at 1 1/2", 2", 3 3/4", 4", 4 1/4" - the three score lines that are closest together should be towards the scalloped side.
Stamp your fancy new "purse", Crease on your scores and you'll see where to place your pad of post-it's, It basically gets adgered to the center most large section. I just used glue dots. Then using glue dots again, I adhered the ribbon to the underside of the "flap". I poked the brad through the flower and then through the pre punched hole in the bookmark. I also used a little piece of adhesive backed velco to hold the flap shut!

BTW - I have the new SU catalog and boy does it freakin' rock! I think I'll be giving hubby lots of foot rubs to earn extra stamps - hee hee. Can't believe i'm even taking the time to be on the computer! I will post my retirement lists for sale a little closer to the 1st. Hope you're having a great weekend!

Before they're gone! I love these bookmarks, they are so quick, fun, easy and versatile! (****ETA....They are in the back of the current catty with the accessories - so often overlooked! But you can only get them for a few more days....)

Gotta keep it short today, have to prep for class this afternoon, my little man woke up with an ill tummy - lets just say I "planned" on wearing a dress today.....
Also, my nephew came through surgery just fine, what a kid! SIL is freaking amazing! I would have been a wreck.... her work allowed her 2 weeks off to care for him, thank goodness! I think I'm going to try to steal him one day so she can have a well deserved break! He broke his arm up in Oregon while they were there for her Great Grandmother's funeral! She was almost 96! While gone they also learned her Step Dad's father had passed....I'm telling you.......don't know how she's doin' it.
I'll have more pictures soon, it's nice to be stamping again.

but it's STAMPED!
I borrowed this Do the Hula stamp set from my most rockin' SIL (extra hugs and prayers that girl is holding together a LOT right now.....) to make some invites (that I still plan on posting) While I had it, I figured I'd use it! So I made this card for my cousin for his birthday/going away. He is being deployed in a few weeks, and his wife is preggers!!! Hubby snapped the photo for me, 'cuz you know I finished it 3 minutes before we had to leave....
The base is Close to Cocoa, I also used Old Olive and Buckaroo Blue (awesome color combo) and some naturals vanilla cs. The boards and girls are stamped in close to cocoa and the HB in buckaroo. I used aquapainters and my ink pads to color the boards buckaroo, olive and real red. Highlited the girls with my prismacolors....pretty cool card.
My 8 year old nephew - the absolute coolest boy in the world is being prepped for surgery as I type. He broke his elbow last weekend, and he is having pins put in. He's been freaking out about the surgery.The poor guy will be in an arm cast all summer, which is not going to be fun, considering we've already been hitting highs of 108-110 degrees! Anyhow, if you're looking to send a little boy a hope you're feeling better card, email me and I'll give you an address. Here's the cutie pie rockin' his "faux-hawk" at Chuck E Cheese on his birthday.... I swear I hope my boys grow up to be as thoughtful, helpful and caring as he is!

I have been unusually blessed in my life with wonderful women in my family, my Mom, my grandmothers, my aunts....One Aunt in particular, my Aunt Cindy, I was always very close to. She was/is the "cool Aunt" beautiful, fun, great clothes - you know. But even more so than that, she was and still is always there for me. From my parents divorce, to my jr. high/high school stupidity and even now she has always had an ear to turn to, a shoulder to cry on, arms to hug and hands to heal. She has done more for me than I probably ever deserved and she still does. I try my hardest to try to show her or tell her how grateful I really am, and I pray she knows. She is a unique soul and a kind loving heart.....
Last year for her birthday I traveled by myself with the boys for the first time and drove the almost 5 hours to go to her surprise "milestone" birthday. (This year I was late calling her....yikes) Anyhow, I made this gift paint can up just for her. She even saw it in my closet before I had it all done and I just told her it was a project I was working on hee hee. It took me a long time to get it all together and everything right, but that's ok, because even though I never have enough time, I have even less money, so I gotta spend the time hee hee! So it was made with love from the heart....Anyhow, she said she loved it, so I though I'd share it with y'all.
I used the Spring Flowers Paper from SU and all the coordinating pieces to make the can, notepad, notecards, cocoa packet, scrapbook, pens, post it cover, notebook and chocolate bar

This card is actually the first challenge card I did. This was a color challenge and was my first real push. I like the challenges because they can really force you out of your comfort zones. I have found some of my fave color combos from here and ones I never would have chosen for myself. Unfortunately this card was sent as a sympathy card, however I was grateful to be able to send one truly from the heart.
I believe the combo was Cool Caribbean, Rose Red and Vintage Violet.

I made this card with inspiration from an SCS sketch challenge last year. It's been forever since I've been able to participate in a challenge and I miss them terribly! Anyhow, this went to my cousin when he and his wife had their little boy, Bradon James. They live in Denver and I hope I might get to see them during convention, he happens to be one of Denver's finest! I will miss Baby Talk when it's gone July 1st, it's the set that I made my little guys birth announcements with....
Anyhow, I figured you might want some substance with all the blabber that's been going on around here lately. I am ITCHING to get my hands on some of the new super gorgeous stuff that SU will be bringing out July 1st. It's soooooooo good!!!!
