I know, kind of ironic huh? I do so good and set up the blog to post everyday last week, and then this week I don't post a single dang thing! I do have several good reasons though....babysitting a 3 month old at 6 a.m. a good 2 1/2 hours before I normally get up, getting ready for my vendor show tomorrow, getting ready for World Card Making Day next Saturday, planning a vacation which has been really tough because we are going up to see my Mother in Law and her husband - sounds simple except that he was supposed to start chemo/radiation this next week after having some lung cancer removed but they found some in the lymph nodes, but....earlier this week he was complaining of severe abdominal pain and what they thought might be kidney stones turned out to be that the cancer has spread to his liver and kidneys. So it's been a pretty difficult week - throw in everyday life and the normal and not so normal everyday bumps and bruises (I never knew that the inside of a toddlers lip could bleed SO MUCH! - this time the baby) and it's been a doozy!!
Oh my gosh - speaking of all this drama.... last week I was driving home and was particularly tired, and hubby was going to be working overtime yadda yadda and this song came on the radio...you may have heard it. It's called "Fall" by Clay Walker. Oh my gosh - instant bawling - I should have pulled over... it talks about how his woman shoulders so much but how he just wants her to "Fall" - fall into his arms and let it all go. Yeah - it's one of those "Is he singing to ME?"
I hope tomorrow goes well at the vendor show, although I usually have fun no matter what.
Oh yeah - about the awesome advent/Christmas tree thing - I have NO clue. I don't know who made it, where it came from or anything. Maybe someone does, if so feel free to post. It appeared to be like little matchboxes. I don't know if there's a template out there somewhere or not. I'm sure one of my savvy readers can find this...if you do - let me know so I can post it!
wow! what a week! Sorry your Father in law is getting worse :( hugs to you and hubby! Praying for calm for you through this time!
