These two cards also use a set from the Holiday Mini Collection 2007 . The set is caled Stem Sihouettes and is a great alternative for those who love the Garden Silhouettes hostess set that might not earn it, or would just like to add to the versatility of that set.
I really like the combination of Sahara Sand, Mellow Moss (gingham ribbon) and Always Artichoke on this card. It has a nice classic layout and that little bit of white gel pen detailing really sets off the main panel. I also really like how the ticket corner punch repeats on the designer label tag punch behind the oval punched sentiment. A good K.I.S.S. (keep it simple stamper/sweetie) card!
Soft Sky and Blue Bayou has been one of my fave color combos with the new in colors this year, so I really like making this card. The touch of black adds just a bit of easy elegance. The main image is just stamped repeatedly using Blue Bayou to give great depth, and a strip of Soft Sky designer paper just kind if pops. I haven't used the hodgepodge hardware like this before and I think it adds a fun little touch.
I love the buds on the first card! Its great my boss is gone for the next 2 days! so he said I could bring something to do! woohoo! I have my demo bag! LOL Im like doing crafts today at work! yup thats the life :)

I've never tried using sahara sand CS. The sahara sand used w/always artichoke really has a calming look. I also love the layout. Gives you a warm feeling.....nice :)
