MISS September Swaps - CLOSED!

I know that a lot of Demonstrators love having samples from every stamp set we have, and I know that stamping "customers" (I don't like that word...as you are so much more) like that too. HOWEVER, I am one that would prefer to have more samples from the stamp sets that I own and demonstrate, to truly show the versatility and really launch my creative process.

So that's how the idea of the MISS swap started (Monthly Inspiration Set Sampler)

This swap has proven itself in the past to be a TOP QUALITY swap! This swap will be open to everyone, not just Demonstrators, I only ask that ALL supplies are current Stampin' Up! (with the exception of things like staples, paper clips, etc...). This will be a "best quality" , so you'll want to do your best work...Fancy isn't required, but neat is!

This stamp set needs to be the "main" image on the card, you can still use backgrounds and sentiments.

Sign ups will end on the 5th, and all cards MUST be mailed to me by the 15th.

I will then mail you your cards by the 25th.

This will be a +1, full card swap, so for each swap you will make 8 FULL cards (not fronts) - keep one for yourself then you will get 6 more back, giving you a total of 7 samples. One stays with me for organizing. Sound fun?

Full instructions will be mailed to all participants on or before the 6th.

Over my pity party

A Personal Post

I try to keep this blog mostly business, but sometimes I need to use it as another outlet too.

Wednesday afternoon I had an appointment with a Neurologist, in an effort to figure out what has been going on in my body the last few years. At only 33, I have felt that my health has been digressing since my first pregnancy 5 years ago. Since that pregnancy, I have had 3 surgeries, several procedures and have been diagnosed with multiple "itis's" gastritis, sacroiliitis....you get the idea. About a year ago I embarked on my mission to figure some things out. When a blood test for inflammatory markers my FP ordered came back normal, I thought I might never find out. I have suffered through chronic pain, fatigue, battled depression and weight gain....I feel like I am complaining, but it's just the truth. I do know how much worse it could be. Anyhow, after dealing with some pretty debilitating and rather odd leg pain for I don't know how long - with the most painful bouts coming earlier this year, I decided it was time once again to seek an answer.

I might finally have that answer. It was the answer I was prepared for, but am having a hard time with none the less. My doctor feels as though I have a pretty "severe" case of fibromyalgia and is concerned there could be some neuropathy issues as well. Of course I am unable to begin any treatment from him as it would involve heavy medication and with my pregnancy, that is not an option. I assume it won't be for quite a while as I do plan on nursing again.

Here is where I am hoping that you will come in. I know that this is not a rare condition and I am sure that other readers of my blog have probably dealt with or are dealing with this. I am hoping to try to cope with this as naturally as possible, and I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions. I want to return to "my" life. I want to feel normal again, have energy, and not cringe everytime a loved one comes to me to show their affection. I am hoping that there are some other ways to deal with this. If you have any advice to offer, please leave me a comment. If anything, it may just put my mind at ease a little.

I've got it!

 

I have so much to share with y'all! I really did have a great time. I'm still not feeling 100% and still feeling pretty dehydrated, but we got to see baby's heartbeat today, and that's making me feel a little bit better.

So - back to the "scheduled" programing:

I wish I could convey to you the amazing quality of these products. It is absolutely amazing!!!  There will be so many options. I love that you can print at home or through our print vendor (which I will suggest because their printers have been calibrated to match our colors!!!!) I am seriously considering giving away a My Digital Studio......thinking about a drawing depending on how many people join my team this month. I'm going to work out the details....check back.

Sick

I am so sorry - my convention posts will have to wait. I am SICK!!! A week away from home when in the throws of my first trimester has proven to be a little too much for me. It's actually not so much pregnancy related as a previous health issue flaring up.

Please excuse me so that I may take care of myself, and I promise to fill this upcoming week with tons of ideas and photos.
