Ok, so I am still learning quite a bit about My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up!, but I am loving it! I got my first printed items back and if I wasn't before, I am definitely hooked.
I am going to share a few pages I've done on this new software. Please be kind. It has been a while since I have done a lot of scrapbooking and the new format is taking some getting used to, so they aren't too fancy (although neither am I).

This was a fairly easy page. I color matched my background to the boys aprons, used a predesigned layout and plugged in my photos. Added mats in complimentry colors and added drop shadows for depth. The circles were made with the circle punch and adding a mat (no shadow so that it appeared to be part of the background paper) and "pushing" them behind the photos. I also added a drop shadow to the text. If this all sounds crazy - I'd be happy to help with what I can with your software. While I am no prodigy yet, I am CERTIFIED in the software.
I love this page, because one of my favorite things to do with my boys is bake! It doesn't always end peacefully - you see that little one up there with those sparkling, "I'm cute - please don't kill me because I'm ornery" big blue eyes...yeah - not the best at listening to directions. I sometimes have to resort to unpleasant levels of "speaking" for his safety. Also to make sure I don't end up with really wierd ingredients! All in all - the frustration has been worth the memories and learning opportunities. Some day I hope his wife appreciates it! :)
