As soon as I saw the Celebrations collection last year when the SU catalog came out, I KNEW immediately that I wanted to do my little man's 1st birthday in that theme. Well, I took it and RAN. I gleaned plently of inspiration from the displays at convention last year. Here are a few photos of what I did....
I embellished almost all of the party favors I was lucky enough to find at Walmart in their Valentine selection. The colors were almost perfect!
My Mom and I made the cupcakes and tried to get the frosting colors to match..they were close. Lots of little details here.....But I LOVE the cupcake wrapper die.
I can not say enough how much I LOVE the celebrations banner! I just punched out my letters, and used the enclosed brads - easy peasy!
BTW, I used the scraps from the Celebrations banner and the Party Hats to make all of the small patterned scalloped circles that were used as the cupcake picks and other accents. Speaking of hats, here is the one I decorated for my little man
See his shirt? Yup....made it with My Digital Studio!
All of these items and more are available in my on-line store here
Wow!! I'm so impressed with your creations! I esp LOVE the MDS on the shirt....have to know more about that! Question about the cupcake die....does it have a bottom? I've used it before but wasn't sure how you keep the wrapper around it when picking it up.
TFS!
