Another Stampin' Up! Sneak Peek from 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalog Noteworthy Hostess Digital Kit

One of the things that I love about being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is the opportunity to pre-order lots of supplies. This means that I get my hands on them first, and I LOVE that. I was so excited to see this AMAZING kit in the HOSTESS section  of the new 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog. There are stamp sets and papers and borders and frames...so many elements!!!

 This layout is a little different for me, but I love the elements and colors. I don't have a lot of recent photos of my oldest little man - I think maybe because now that he is in school all day, I have more chances to take photos of the littler ones. He is still so little, but growing up so fast. He is a very old soul. I took this photo at Spring Mountain State park which I think is a great little hidden gem just outside of Las Vegas.

Stampin' Up! Sneak Peek from 2011-2012 Catalog and Idea Book

Would you like a quick sneak peek at some fun new designer papers that are going to be offered in the new 2011-2012 Stampin' Up1 Idea Book and Catalog? I love that a lot of the product suites have digital options and there will even be "bundles" YAY!

Anyhow, this was not quite what I was expecting my first creation with the new supplies to look like, or even the first things that I would use - but I LOVE the way this page turned out. It might also have something to do with the SUUUUUPER Cute baby boy in the photo...doesn't he just make you want to "AWWWWWWWWWWWW"?

Anyhow - all of the papers that I used in this layout are from the Pocketful of Posies collection of Designer Series Papers. With a name like Pocketfull of Posies you might not expect that they would be good to use for boy or masculine photos, but I think they work wonderfully. There are a TON of different colors in the papers. I also used some components from the Downtown Grunge  which is an AMAZING and very versatile kit - available now. The papers from Pocketful of Posies will be available on July 1st, but traditional and MDS.

 

I do have my new catalog and I LOVE it. There is a ton of stuff on my wish list this year. i do have rules about how and when I can distribute them, but if you would like one, let me know and I will make sure I can get one to you.

Video Game Scrapbook Page Layout - Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio

Having 3 boys in the home isn't going to let me show you a lot of "pretty" pages. I do some for my club layouts for others, but I don't have a lot of chances to use them. Maybe I need to scan some old photos of me in the computer - Haha haha!

My "middle" one is quite fun to watch when he plays video games. He justmps the whole time. Now, this isn't a Wii situation...it's PlayStation3 - Angry Birds, Lego Harry Potter, etc... It is rather amusing! I used Extreme Elements (included in the software) and Athletic Dept. and played with the Drop Shadow colors to get some fun effects.

Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio "First Date" Scrapbook page

I realllllly hope that y'all aren't getting sick of seeing my scrapbook pages. Honestly a few years ago I got so overwhelmed with trying to keep up with everything scrapbook related I pretty much gave up on it! With My Digital Studio my desire to scrapbook has been completely renewed.

To me it is so much easier. I was so bad at printing out all of my digital photos, and now, I don't feel all that pressure to. I can add the ones I want to right to a page and it's just so easy! I don't have to tear my room apart looking for that "just right" paper/ribbon/embellishment for each page - now they are all at my fingertips. I don't have to even worry about having the right size photos/embellishments/ribbons/punches. I just resize them!

I saw this layout in a magazine and LOVED it. I know I could pull off something cute and colorful. I was reallty surprised though when I inserted this photo of me with my son before we went out on a "date" and how well it worked.

I don't do a lot of single page layouts, but I am trying hard to incorporate them more.

 

I love "White" layouts. They can be a little tricky sometimes - but when you pull it off - it ROCKS. I think this one rocks. The pattened paper was one that was available during SAB, but could easily be replaced with almost any Designer Paper.
