These by far ar my favorite photos from Convention. WHY? Because we can find card, scrapbook and project ideas and inspiration almost everywhere these days, but the one thing that is harder to come by is friends. That is unless you happen to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I have made some of the most wonderful friends through both meeting them on-line and at Convention and other Stampin' Up! events. These are women who - even though I only get to hug usually once a year, I have a wonderful bond with. I look forward to seeing these beautiful women smiling at me when I pass them between classes, before general sessions, and at lunch.
This year was also extra special for me. WHY? Because this year I was able to walk accross the stage for the very first time. Now, to some that might not be considered a big accomplishment, but for me it was. You see, I have been with Stampin' Up! almost 6 years now (so I walked for my 5 year accomplishment), but I have been in direct sales (formerly with Home Interiors and Gifts) since 1998 - when I was 10 - HAHA, and I had yet to earn an opportunity to walk accross the stage. I have wanted that recognition for 13 YEARS! Finally, thanks to Stampin' Up! I was able to take my 15 seconds of fame and walk accross that stage, to get that taste of what it feels like to be recognized for greater accomplishments.
Please enjoy today's pictures, they are very special to me.
