WooHoo! A sketch challenge. I've mentioned it before that sketch challenges are fun - I love the way they pull different avenues of my creativity. This one was different, because I knew I was anxious to scrap the photos I took from my husband's birthday party last week. My hubby is such a good sport. You see, part of him is still a little boy (the best part sometimes) and there are a few things he loves still, Muppets, Disney, Mary Poppins, Baseball and Snoopy. When we were planning the boys birthdays this year, we realized that we hadn't had a Snoopy party. Then I realized that his birthday fell right before Easter. I planned his cake and we had a few of his friends over.
I have to admit - I am pretty proud of the way his cake turned out. More importantly, he loved it! I wanted to make a page that captured the fun and bright colors but was still kind of masculine. A little challenge - but when I showed him the page - he really liked it, I hope you do as well.
Enjoy this week's other takes on the sketch :)
WOW Jeanna!!!! You made that cake? AMAZING! And so is your page - I love it! :)
