 Ok, so I love my friend Cindy and all, but when I saw her sketch, all I could think was that she really wanted to challenge me! Once I started playing around though, it came together nicely!

 This was just a fun little thing we did with our boys last year. With a Valentine birthday in the house, we try to mix things up a bit.

 Alright, on to this week's sketch and challenge. Beth challenged us to do something I'm not sure I've done very often and that is to use a punch to add your photos to your page. She even posted a great video if you need to watch to see how to do it. Here is my page and her sketch.

MDS Monday 96 - Chalkboard Challenge

 

Hi friends!

 Happy Monday! Remember me? It seems like forever since I posted. I am glad I took some time off. Part of it was because I needed it, and part of it was honestly, I have been SOOOO spacey since the hysterectomy!!! I almost feel l ike I have "preggo-brain"

 There are a few changes going on with MDS Monday, stop by and check it out. This week our challenge is a little different. This week we are playing with the "Chalkboard style" Here is what I came up with.

 

 

 I love this look and I think I really want to do a lot more layouts with it. I'm glad the chalkboard trend seems to be adding in some more color....

We Create Blog Hop - An Occasion to create for 2015!

Happy New Year!!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful, and safe NYE. It was the best one I've had in 14 years! My hubby didn't have to WORK! He was HOME, with me and the boys. That was so wonderful!

For the first hop of our year, we are bringing you NEW also. Brand new items that will be available in just a few short days in the AMAZING Occasions catalog.

I decided to play with the new You Plus Me set. I love this year's Valentine's offerings. Having a Valentine birthday boy in the house, this year's are GREAT! Some Strawberry Slush watercolor, gold embossing and new embellishments and I was thrilled with my final project!
