 Welcome back to Fancy Friday! This month is all about TECHNIQUES!

 I used quite a few techniques on this card. It's one of my favorite cards I've made in a while.

 The first technique would be using my Blendabilities markers. I LOVE them. They do require a little patience, but the results are so worth it! I also added a bit of sponging on this card. I know it's not the "trendiest" technque, but sometimes it adds just the right amount of dimension to an element on your card. Not only did I sponge the main piece, but I sponged some Soft Sky ink on the big dots after my cardstock was embossed.

MDS Monday 101

Hi friends!

  I know it must seem like I fell off of the earth. One week I'm posting like crazy, the next 2 - CRICKETS....

 I went to Orlando for Stampin' Up!s Leadership Convention. While there I found out that my Granny passed away. As soon as I got off the plane back here in Vegas, I was packing to turn around and drive 20 hours to Missouri with my husband and 3 boys. There were a few other issues we had to deal with, but I'll save that for another post.

 The last week I have been trying to play catch up, plus get prepared for my upcoming 6 hour stamping event. I BARELY got this page done.

 Of course, my Granny has been on my mind lately. So it just seemed natural for me to do this week's sketch featuring the last time I was able to see her. I'm so grateful my boys were able to spend a little time with her. Of course I regret that it wasn't more....

 I'm trying really hard to catch up in addition to life My boys are on track break the next 3 weeks. Wish me luck. Hopefully I can just sneak in enough time to start posting again. Please be patient if it takes a while...

MDS Monday 100!!!!

Hi friends!

 Happy Monday!!!! This is a BIG WEEK! A HUGE week in fact!!! This is the 100th MDS Monday CHALLENGE!!!! WOO HOOO!!!

 Can you believe that we've had 100 weeks of sketches or challenges?  To celebrate, we're doing something different.  Heidi has maintained a Pinterest board of all the MDS sketches to date.  Go to that board and pick your favorite sketch and create a new scrapbook page or card.  When you link your project, be sure to tell us which sketch you used.  We will give you two weeks to create your projects, and we're giving out prizes!!!  The top two winners will receive a download of their choice valued up to $9.95, and three runner up winners will receive MDS Monday key chains designed by Beth!!!  So, get your creative juices flowing and help us celebrate this awesome milestone.
