Hey, Hey!!! Happy Friday, friends!!!! Ok, so I know I just posted about us being on Summer Break, but sure enough, Monday, we start school again. We packed a lot in to these two weeks though - a trip to California complete with Angels baseball, a stadium tour, a trip to the beach, outdoor movie time with cousins, swimming and more.
This project is actually one I made for an end of the year gift a few weeks ago, although I think it works for teachers any time of the year. Maybe next week I'll be sharing Back to School ideas with our Re-Mix challenge.... but for now....
(If you want to play along and create a card yourself, click on the pic above.)
So here is what went to school with my boys on the last day:
The Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper created a great backdrop for the card. I added little touches like scoring on the Daffodil Delight strip to resemble a pencil and Crumb Cake and Silver Glimmer Paper to add to that pencil feel. The little boxes are just a red Curvy Keepsake box with a little highlight from the White Chalk Pen. I KNOW apple leaves are ore pointy, but I figured that the little tag die in the set would work JUST FINE (and I might have been doing these at the last minute). My new favorite Greetings Thinlits and we re out the door running! (they were SHOVED full of yummy chocolate)
So, even though most of y'all are working on Back to School projects, I hope that this still helped inspire you!
I really hope that you'll play along with our challenge. Make sure to link up over at #TGIFC this week and show us what you got.
Cute little projects Jeanne!
