Hey there!!!!
Welcome back to the 80's. I mean, welcome back to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop - 80's style! Talk about a fun, and crazy theme to work with!!! WOW.!!! There were so many options! Big hair, shoulder pads, Flashdance, cassette tapes,Cabbage Patch Kids, jelly shoes and bracelets, Palm trees, neon and triangles, I could go ON and ON. Now, everyone who has memories of the 80's will have totally rad, and different memories, but for me, the 80's were elementary school. Like any self respecting 80's school girl, I HAD to have a fun, BRIGHT, Lisa Frank Trapper Keeper (filled with pink and aqua notebook paper).
I wanted to make something that would bring back that little bit of joy that silly piece of school gear brought me (and thousands of other little girls), so I created this inspired Composition Notebook-turned "Trapper Keeper" with a color scheme that totally felt like Lisa Frank to me.
now, you KNOW I didn't have one with butterflies! LOL, BUT in evaluating all of my Stampin' Up! supplies, I KNEW that these butterflies would be as close as I could get to creating the same feel of her art style. I very PAINSTAKINGLY pieced those little suckers back together. It took a while, but the result??? WELL - shhhh, don't tell anyone, but I kind of LOVE these butterflies! LOL
How will I not smile every time I open up the velcro on the flap to write my notes??? LOL
Ok, so you like, totally have to check out like, all of my totally rad friends, and like see what epically bodacious projects they came up with. TOTALLY (oops, did my SoCal just show? LOL)
Seriously, head on over to Allison's to see what brilliance she has to share with you today.

NAILED IT! :) This is absolutely perfect for your theme and the most 80's thing I've seen so far (which is crazy to me because...we have a few products this round that screamed bad-80's to me...). Plus these butterflies are so fun I know my daughter would love them now! :D

Oh my gosh. YES! Trapper Keepers. Every girl HAD to have one when starting back to school. Rainbows, butterflies, and Lip Smacker. Those were the days.
