Hi there!!!
Welcome back, and Happy Friday!!! Hope y'all have a great week. I've been trying to enjoy summer, despite it being a hundred million degrees outside! My boys are going a little stir-crazy. It's so nice to have my stamping therapy as an outlet. This week's challenge is a FUN color combo!!!
(if you want to play along, click on the above image!)
Don't you LOVE it? I knew right away it would be a perfect combo to help create a card to celebrate my twin niece and nephew's 1st birthday!
I LOVE these sweet little bears, but haven't used them as often as I thought I would. Figured it was time to change that.
Here are a few tips I used to give today's card that little something extra:
*The bears and little guy's bow are stamped on to Shimmery White card stock and then watercolored using a Clear Wink of Stella Brush. I did the balloons the same way.
*Little sweetie's tutu was created with our Flirty Flamingo Rouched Ribbon that I gathered using a needle and some Silver Thread
*To make the sentiment stand out, I heat embossed the image in white on Smoky Slate, cut it out with the coordinating die, then popped it up on Dimensionals.
*To get the balloon strings to stay on the bear's paws, I added a little drop of glue from the Fine-Tip Glue Pen
I appreciate your visits to my blog and I would love to be your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator if you currently don't have one. If you would like to place an order with me in August and use this Hostess Code RPWBQRZ7.
