HI there!!! Welcome back to my favorite day of the week - FRIDAY, mostly because I get to share my TGIF projects with you!!! This week we have a fun sketch, that Mercedes might have added in just because of ME. I mentioned at OnStage Live in Salt Lake that I struggled with the angled cards, so... well... here we go!

Remember a few week's back when I mentioned I was making some special cards for some kids of two of our city's fallen officer's? Well, this one is going to the 17 year old son of one of them! Sometimes teenage boy cards can be hard to make, because they usually call for SIMPLE! I did simple I think, but added just a few special touches.
To make the card a little extra special I:
*Added extra layers. There are multiple layers to make it feel extra special. The Smoky Slate and Dapper Denim layers are roughed up a little to add a little dimension
*Added a TOUCH of glimmer with Silver Glimmer Paper. I asked my 17 year old boy neighbor, he said it was fine - LOL
*Used the Sparkle Textured Embossing Folder to add some texture to the main panel
*Used my Blender Pen and some Smoky Slate Ink, plus a little Dapper Denim ink to color in the letters BYOP instead of leaving it empty.
I am so grateful for you visiting my blog. If you currently don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator I would love to be the one you choose. For all of my August orders that use the Hostess Code RPWBQRZ7, I am sending a handmade card for you to use for every $10 in merchandise you order! If you aren't sure where to start, here are the items I used for today's card:

Hope you have a wonderful weekend and take some time to do some creating yourself! Don't forget to enter at the Challenge Blog if you create with this sketch. We'd love to see it!
