Hi, Welcome Back!!!! You know those weekends where you have SO much going on?!?! They are SO FUN, although I am glad they aren't every weekend. Sometimes I need some downtime, but this last weekend was one of those busy ones. Yesterday we FINALLY got to attend a birthday party for our friend's sweet little boy. Can't believe he is 3. I actually used to care for him while his Mama was working.
I knew it was going to be a Toy Story themed party, and I really wanted to do something a little closer to the theme. About as close as I got was using a dinosaur! LOL. I actually made a "waterfall card" I haven't made one of these in YEARS, but the fun, multiple images really lent themselves to this!
So, first up is my simple version. On this one I really tried to stay with a more limited color palette, and basic tools.
For the stepped up version, I used my Big Shot, dies and an embosing folder, plus added more inks. I LOVE both versions, but this is the one that the birthday boy received!
and of course the inside:
This card was so much fun to create! I encourage you to go back through some of your older projects and recreate them with new items - It's FUN!
I appreciate you stopping by my blog today, and I would love to be your Stampin'Up! Demonstrator if you don't currently have one. In fact, when you place an order with me during the month of August and use the Hostess Code RPWBQRZ7, I will send you a free handmade card for you to use for every $10 you spend! If you are looking for a place to start, here are the products I used on today's project.

I have never made a waterfall card, but I have to say what I love the most is the party hat on each dino in the stepped up card! hahahaaaaa!!!

A waterfall card was one of the first interactive cars I ever made. They are so fun. The dinosaurs are cute. I also love how you finished the card. So often we get so excited to show the outside and the inside should be just as cute.

Waterfall cards are always so special and both of yours rank right up there. I do agree with you Jeanna that the stepped up version RAWKS! I love the addition of the embossing, the square framelits, and the greenery in the pictures. Everything works!
