Yeah, yeah, I am doubling up this week. Sometimes you just got to. Life, right? Anyhow, I am just going to call it being efficient! Well, when I can knock out two challenges with one stone, and make the project fit both the #TGIFC114 challenge AND the FANCY FRIDAY - why not?
The challenge this week was to base our project off of the fabulous Elizabeth Price. This was not hard as she is tremendously talented!
Our challenge at Fancy Friday this month is to share our Top 5 FAVORITE ITEMS from the new catalog! My project technically uses all FIVE!!! :)
1. Wood Textures Designer Series Paper - This is just SO ME!!! There are so many gorgeous wood patterns, sometimes it's hard to choose, It is FANTASTIC for masculine cards, but as you can clearly see here, it can work perfectly for something pretty and feminine (This is Elizabeth's beautiful card that inspired me)PLUS - it goes AMAZING with the Wood Words Bundle for endless possibilities.
2. Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder - well, considering the last one, this shouldn't be a surprise. It looks pretty freaking cool on standard cardstock, but it is DOUBLE COOL over the Wood Textures Paper! I love the deep impression this folder creates.
3. Color Theory Suite/ Colorful Seasons Bundle - A stamp set for literally every season, with gorgeous sentiments and an AWESOME set of coordinating dies - I think this could be a must have for everyone. The suite also includes a Memories & More Card Pack, Coordinating Ribbon, Glitter Enamel Dots, and a great Designer Series Paper Stack
4. Corrugated Elements - I think these sweet little elements could get overlooked, but they are so sweet and fun, and a simple way to add just that perfect little touch to projects. They come in hearts, ovals and cute little tags, and it's only $3.50 for 24 pieces!!!
5. 2017-2018 In Color Collection - OK, so I might have been cheating a bit on this ;) Seriously - Stampin' Up! knocked it out of the park this year with 5 amazing colors!!! I am using all of them like crazy. Especially Lemon Lime Twist, even though this card uses the sweet Powder Pink. There is Cardstock, Designer Paper, Ink Pads, Markers, and Bitty Bows
Really I could go on and on!!! This catalog in AMAZING!!!
