I am so happy that I FINALLY tried this Bokeh technique! Not sure why I hadn't yet. It's been around a little while, and it's kind of fun!

There are a lot of ways to do this technique. You can use a preprinted Designer Series Paper, you can watercolor your background, or what I did - I just sponged my cardstock. You do want to make sure that you use colors that blend well together. I chose Flirty Flamingo, Sweet Sugarplum and Fresh Fig for this one...
After that, to create this technique, you will need some sort of stencil/template. I used circles, punched from a Window Sheet to create mine. Then it's a matter of using a sponge dauber to build layers of white circles.
I knew I wanted to keep it bold and graphic to let the background stand on it's own, so the Happy Birthday thinlit to the rescue again. Seriously - SO VERSATILE! I also have a new favorite on this card. The mini black Sequin Trim!!! So CUTE!
