Happy Friday! It's time for another color challenge at TGIF Challenges, and I think that this one is SUPER FUN!!! The other designers and I have come up with quite a few happy projects... you really should check them out and play along with us this week!
My kids are still in school - we've been on a year round schedule, so I still wanted to make some end of the year teacher's gifts and I knew that this happy color combo would be a great starting point for that!
I am SO happy with the way they turned out!
I used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Dies to create a wide gift bag. I love that we have the Thick Whisper White cardstock now as that REALLY makes for a nicer bag. I added an extra cardstock panel that I embossed with the new Polka Dots Basics Embossing Folder. I carefully added my fun trio of colors to the raised dots with some ink from the pads and an Aqua Painter.
I knew that I could not put just any old tissue paper in these cute bags, so I used the markers to draw a very freeform, whimsical stripe pattern. The strips are not perfect...it doesn't matter!!! it's FUN, like the polka-dots!
Now I just need to go shopping so that I can fill them with just the right gifts for each of the amazing women who have had the patience to deal with my boys this year!

These bags are super cute! Little bags of happy and the tissue paper is genius!
