Ok, making cards for guys really isn't the easiest things to do often, but for a THIRTEEN year old?!?! Yes, difficult to say the least. Thank goodness for this week's Paper Craft Crew sketch and Stampin' Up! Number of Years stamp set!!!
I really don't have any stamp sets that scream "my baby is turning in to a teenager". At the advice of the fab Andrea Tracy-Tucker - Number of Years is a great go to. Now, she had a completely different suggestion on the direction to go, but this is where it ended up! LOL
Now, my kid has loved the color green since as long as I can remember, so I wanted to add in my current fave green - Lemon Lime Twist. I think he is going to LOVE it!!!
My favorite parts of the card are the white embossing paste bricks on the black circle, and the Lemon Lime Twist Washi Tape! In order to turn my Pick A Pattern Washi Lemon Lime Twist, I colored it with the ink pad, then set the color with Clear Embossing Powder. I LOVE IT!!!
Here is the list of supplies that I used. By clicking on the images below, you can the items directly to your cart so that you can create this card, and MANY other projects too!!! Please enter V3UJWUSC as your hostess code, and I will send you a special thank you gift with any purchase of $35 or more! (U.S. only)
