Happy Friday! I have ANOTHER two for one week for you. Last week it was #tgifc122 and Fancy Friday, this week it is #tgifc123 and the We Create Blog Hop! I love the color combo for tgif this week, so I thought it would be great to show how you can use this fun color combo to inspire you to create a card that is easy to "Step Up!"

A few weeks ago I pre-ordered a great new Stampin' Up! Set that is NOW AVAILABLE!!! It's called Painted Harvest. I hadn't had an opportunity to use it until this week, but my goodness, what a gorgeous set!
The two cards are very similar, the first one being a great, fairly quick and simple card.
I stamped the sunflower image in Peekaboo Peach and Tangerine Tango, then cut it out. That was the hardest part of the card. It really was an easy card. After I placed it on the Soft Sky Square I cut from the Stitched Shapes Framelits.
I made just a few adjustments for the "stepped up" version -
I added a little interest to the background by randomly stamping the sentiment in Peekaboo Peach ink on the coordinating cardstock. I decided to play off the watercolor look of the main image by creating a simple watercolor wash on some Shimmery White cardstock to go behind the sunflower. I also added a few of the tiny black sequins from the Mini Sequin Trim. not a lot of changes, but a BIG impact!
Please enjoy the rest of the blog hop - Lynn is up next, can't wait to see what's she's come up with.

Oooh! I love the stepped up version with the watercolor wash behind the flower. I also love the sentiment randomly stamped as well. Really adds to the card. Beautiful idea to pair with this color combo.

Painted Harvest should be arriving at my home on Monday. Love what you have done with it. The background words and watercolor really make it pop
