OMG! I am so excited! Back in 2014, as the 2013 Artisan year came to an end, most of us wanted to keep blogging together, so we started the Fancy Friday Blog Hop. Well, six years later and HOLY SMOKES, we have GROWN!
So - We're shaking things up this year on the Fancy Friday Design Team! This will be our last official 'blog hop' because we're moving in a new direction! We'll be posting a challenge on the first Friday of every month over on Instagram and Facebook. And then we'll show you our team projects as the month progresses. We can't wait to have you around so any time you're inspired by our challenge, tag us in or use hashtag #stampinfancyfriday. Ok, it's time! Go follow us on Instagram and Facebook - @stampinfancyfriday. Stay inspired. See you there!
How are we celebrating this change? By creating some projects we can SHAKE! There are some seriously FUN projects this month, so you will definitely want to go through the full hop!!! Besides, it's our last one...
I know I wanted to create something extra special (perfect timing, as I can't wait to give this special Valentine to someone special....)
I did go a little crazy by mixing up LOTS of different products on this one, but the inspiration hit when I noticed this piece of Poppy Parade gingham Designer Series Paper laying next to this beautiful piece of Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper....then it was just a matter of creating a shaker element for it. I love that we have coordinating sequins in the Peaceful Poppies Suite!
To make the frame for the shaker, I used the Heart Punch Pack and Stitched Shapes Dies. The "love" and the floral element inside the shaker are from the Well Written Dies.
Like I mentioned above, you will not want to miss a single project in this month's hop. If you have a moment, feel free to leave comments on our posts and show some farewell love (to our blog hop, anyhow - we really aren't going anywhere...) Next up is my dear friend and new mommy (again, to baby #3) Cathy Caines. She makes the most gorgeous babies - and projects!
