Hello and Happy Friday!!! I am so excited to be sharing this week's TGIF Challenge with you. This week we are featuring a beautiful inspiration challenge, and I LOVED bringing this challenge to life.
I was instantly drawn to the watercolor background and softness in the florals, and knew that this would be another fantastic card to feature another ombre look! LOL.... I know, I might be bit hooked.
There was something that I loved about the Fancy Phrases stamp set the moment that I saw it. I had a few floral stamp sets to choose from for this card, but I am THRILLED that I trusted my heart and went this this one.
There is a lot of texture, interest, and ombre in this card. On top of the Gorgeous Grape card base, I layered a piece of Highland Heather that I had embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder, then a piece of Purple Posy Designer Series Paper, and finally, the Watercolor Paper layer that I had created the ombre watercolor wash with Gorgeous Grape ink and the large Aqua Brush. To add the soft color around the roses, I used a Blender Pen with the Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz and Balmy Blue inks.
