It's seriously July!?!? This year is going by way too quickly for me. I have a busy weekend coming up, too. We are going to a local parade Saturday morning, a friend's pool party on Saturday, then hosting a few friends and family on Sunday to celebrate the 4th of July!
Today though, we are celebrating the fact that Stampin' Up! is AWESOME and it's Designer Series Paper Sale Time! Now, I created my cards for today's post before I knew what papers would be on sale, so of course what I used is not on sale, but the beauty of paper crafting is that you can take ideas, and make them yours! You could easily recreate these cards using whatever Designer Series Paper you want!
I actually have TWO cards for you today. Once I got going and had these ideas in my head, I just had to get them made.
Ok, so this was the first one! I was recently browsing Facebook and came across a photo of old Pyrex at a flea market, and the seller had it all set up in a gorgeous spectrum. It was beautiful! I used our Designer Series Paper Stack in the Brights color family to create my stack of bowls, and paired it with the AMAZING Pattern Party Designer Series Paper that you can choose as a host reward (by hosting a party or placing a minimum order)
After I was done with the first card, I had these strips laying on my desk. I recently saw another card online (really don't remember where) and thought that it would be a fun technique to try with my scraps! The gorgeous font from the Biggest Wish Set was a perfect, bold statement to pair with the bright colors!
I really, truly hope that I helped inspire you to create today. Break out those fabulous Designer Series Papers, or treat yourself to some of the new ones on sale!!! Here's a full list of the products that I used on today's card. I will also list all of the Designer Series Papers on sale for you.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I would love to be able to help you with all of your Stampin' Up! needs if you are in the US. Here is a linked shopping supply list for you, and when you order over $50 using the hostess code Z9XAQ23P, you can choose any of my PDF Tutorial Bundles for Free. Simply beautiful cards. I love the way the bright colors pop and the way the designer series paper adds texture to the cards.
