If you haven't been able to tell, I've been having a blast creating for Easter this year. One of the projects that came in my Artisan box of supplies from Stampin' Up! this month was the adorable set, Eggstra Spectacular. I realized that if I didn't share this with you soon, it would be too late, so without further ado....

What do you think? I LOVE it! Want to see some close ups?

First up is this sweet little card. I'm not one that usually spends a lot of time making and sending out Easter cards, but sometimes I want to send or hand out a little something, so an easy 3"x3" card like this is perfect! The base is Island Indigo and the Designer Series Paper is the Quatrefancy Specialty paper. It's embellished with a sweet little Daffodil Delight Stitched Grosgrain bow and Pumpkin Pie Button. Oh - and do you see that sweet little fluffy tail? Just a fun little detail.

This cute little "basket" might be the perfect little gift to go with that card! I used a 4 oz disposable "coffee cup" and wrapped it with more Quatrefancy Paper. The little "ewe" is embossed with black embossing powder and colored in with the coordinating colors from the paper. I was able to punch him out with the Extra Large Oval punch, but I needed a little something behind that, so I punched out 3 Scallop Ovals and cut them apart to create a mat that would fit. To create the handle, I sandwiched some lovely Strawberry Slush Ruffle Trim between 2 pieces of Pool Party cardstock to create the handle.

As soon as I saw the stamp with the cute row of eggs, I knew I wanted to create these fun little egg holders. Do you love the eggs? I dyed them with Pool Party, Island Indigo and Daffodil Delight reinkers! FUN! To add a little bit of fun, I trimmed the edges of the Strawberry Slush, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie cardstock with the Small Scallop Rotary Trimmer Blade.

I admit, this one gave me a few fits, but I love how this centerpiece turned out! I used a little metal planter box I had on hand and created a little grassy garden of Old Olive cardstock cut with our awesome FRINGE scissors!!! In case you are wondering, I used like 15 strips....
I LOVE how adding the trim, ribbon and button really dressed up the trim
Let me show you some detail on those adorable little eggs -

I embossed the egg image 2 times on each color of cardstock. Then I cut them all apart to make COLORFUL eggs!!!
All together, I think it will really add to the Easter Decor around here - I know the boys will LOVE it!
Hope you enjoy all of the AMAZING projects that the rest of the team has for you today. These are some special projects, so please let the team know what you think! Now go head on over to see the FABULOUS Jennifer Timko - she is seriously SO SUPER awesome! Love her
