Hi there!!! I'm back today with some Paper Craft Crew inspiration for you - this week we are focusing on our furry, or feathered, or - well....I guess there's lots of different skinned animal friends! LOL!!!
I was a little concerned, because I currently don't have a pet, nor do I have a lot of pet sets. At one point I considered using the Kangaroo from the Animal Outing set, until I looked over and found my Let It Ride set. I've never been lucky enough to own a horse, although I would sure love to.
I think that sometimes this set might be looked at as a "masculine" set, although I really wanted to add a bit of a feminine touch with the gingham print and scalloped edge from the new ribbon! What do you think?
One thing that I love about this set is the style of artwork. I wanted to make it look more like a charcoal drawing, so after I stamped it in my Early Espresso ink, I ran over all the lines with a Blender Pen, and check out the gorgeous effect that gave this!
I think it's SO PRETTY (and simple). Try it with some of your line art stamps and see what effect you get. I do think that this works a little better when you use the Thick Whisper White card stock, as it does hold up a little better, even though you only need to lightly trace over the lines.
Have you seen the new catalog? It's awesome!!! Let me know if you would like me to send one to you. It's full of great new stamp sets, new accessories, and of course, the new In-Colors!!!
I truly appreciate the opportunity to be your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. When you place your order this month, please use the hostess code N9PNMGW6 for a special thank you treat from me!
