Hi Stampin' friends!
Happy February! January was a very busy month for us here...oh who am I kidding, it's always busy! LOL February is looking not all that different. I love kicking it off with stamping though!
This month's theme for our We Create Blog Hop is "Have a Heart" - we were challenged to share projects that featured hearts on them! Not a problem here. If you've visited me here before (especially the last few days) you'll know that I love hearts and Valentine's Day because I have a Valentine kiddo!!! I actually think that the card I am sharing with you today might become his Valentine card. Of course he gets a separate Birthday card too....
I might have squealed when this card came together!!! I LOVE IT!!!! I combined images from Under My Umbrella and Heartfelt to create this Umbrella catching all of the love! To make sure that the hearts from the Heartfelt set really coordinated with the Under My Umbrella set, and to make sure that they really popped on the card, I did outline them with a Journaling Marker after stamping them. I also wanted some bright pink twine on my card, so I colored a length of White Baker's Twine with the Light Lovely Lipstick Blends Marker.
